An important update regarding Coronavirus
The situation is changing every day but for the moment, following recent Government announcements, HelpingMinds® will stay open. For now, it still is business-as-usual for HelpingMinds® with some operational adjustments.
We are committed to continue service to you in a way that suits you. In order to continue providing support, we are in the process of transforming face-to-face services to phone-services and are equipping our team members to make this change happen as soon as possible
Changes to our services include
- From the end of Thursday 26 March, no more face-to-face supports are to be provided in our offices across the State and Territory. This includes workshops in the office environment. Instead we will be providing phone support.
- The school holiday program is still in place, as many of our programs are held in schools and for now the schools are staying open. We are sourcing outdoor locations for school holidays workshops in offices locations and new solutions are sourced for excursions.
- From Tuesday 24 March 2020, home visits for all NDIS clients are ceasing to keep both clients and team members safe. Phone/video support will be offered to clients who wish to receive support. We are monitoring Government advice and legislation, and changes will be communicated to you via our Facebook page and website as soon as possible.
Looking after your mental health is more important than ever. We are encouraging everyone to read and share the tips and tricks about how to look after your mental health during this time on our Facebook page.
If you are in distress please contact one of the 24/7 support lines.
Please contact us on (08) 9427 7100 if you have any questions about how your support will change, or if you would like to know how you can access our support.
Keep calm and take care!
Your HelpingMinds® Team
