Digital Mental Health Supports Apps/Site

In this fast paced world we live in, smart phones, facebook, instagram, twitter, google chat, Snapchat, Viber, WhatsApp, Kik messenger keeping up with family and friends we sometimes we do not take time out for ourselves. This is often the case for carers. HelpingMinds® aim is to provide support for carers but what happens if you are unable to get to an appointment or your world has suddenly imploded or you are so overwhelmed with what’s happening?

You need to take time out to chill, relax, refocus whatever you want to call it. It is important, as a carer to have some me time. “…but I don’t have the time…I am being selfish…” is often said to me BUT it is not being selfish, it is doing self-care and you are so important in the equation of caring for someone with a mental health condition.
