The Position

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Psychosocial Support Case Worker to provide non-clinical community-based supports that aim to facilitate recovery in the community for people experiencing mental illness – through a range of services to help people manage daily activities, rebuild and maintain connections, build social skills and participate in education and employment.

Duties of the role (but not limited to):

  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement their recovery plans to achieve their goals.
  • Assist with the development, planning and implementation of the CPS Psychosocial Wellbeing Group program
  • Support potential NDIS participants in obtaining appropriate documentation to support their applications for NDIS.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of all client interactions and service supports, on both internal and external client management systems.

About You

Minimum qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary degree e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Mental Health Nurse; or Diploma/Certificate in Community Services/Mental Health, with significant relevant experience working in mental health or related field.
  • Current Drivers License & Motor Vehicle Insurance
  • Proof of Australian Working Rights

Candidates will also either have or be willing to obtain the following:

  • NDIS Worker Screen Clearance
  • Working with Children Card
  • Current First Aid Certificate
