Our compassionate team of staff and dedicated volunteers throughout the metro and regional areas, provide quality services and support to more than 10,000 children, youth, adults, and families affected by mental illness every year.
The position
We are looking for a strong, experienced, and passionate individual who will report directly to the Marketing Lead and form a part of the Marketing team in the Perth office.
Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):
- Develop, design and distribute a range of promotional materials specific to campaigns and activities including but not limited to flyers, social media posts, posters, brochures, print, radio and tv advertisements, as well as promotion on event platforms such as Eventbrite, What’s On Perth, Social Media Platforms, Weekend Notes etc. linking into HelpingMinds website;
- Developing concepts, graphics, and layouts (inc. Photo editing, re-sizing and arrangement of illustrative material, font style, size etc as required), reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements as required;
- Handling and actioning of marketing briefs via Dolly and Asana (or similar) to ensure that events are fully subscribed while maintaining quality control and tracking to ensure deliverables are produced on time and deadlines are met utilising Asana (or similar);
- Management of fundraising including the Design, development, and implementation of fundraising strategies (i.e: Givenow and Gathered Here);

About You
You’re someone who’s passionate about making a difference and working in the NFP sector!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications
- National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months), drivers license and proof of Australian working rights
Preferred Experience:
- A solid understanding of graphic design principles with a minimum of 3 years creating graphics and publications;
- Advanced skills in software such as Adobe Suite, In Design, WordPress, social media management tools to implement campaigns;
- Confident in pro-actively building relationships and report with teams and other stakeholders;
- High attention to detail with ability to copywrite and proofread engaging on-brand content
