NDIS Educational Support Requirements

Paid opportunity:

What educational support do family members and friends need from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to positively impact their caring and support role.
HelpingMinds® is reviewing the education, training and information needs of family members supporting people with psychosocial disability. Psychosocial disability refers to disability related to severe mental health challenges. We want to produce user friendly, engaging and informative educational material that can be provided through the NDIS to assist family members and friends in their caring and supporting role.
We are seeking 5 people to join us for lunch and a workshop with other family members and friends who are in a caring role. The workshop provides a chance to share your ideas about what educational resources you would find useful in your caring role.

What’s involved?

Your participation will involve attending a 3 hour workshop facilitated by the Project Officer to discuss the educational priorities and preferences of people in caring and supporting roles. You will need access to email.
