‘Psychosocial supports’ are non-clinical community-based supports that aim to facilitate recovery in the community for people experiencing mental illness – through a range of services to help people manage daily activities, rebuild and maintain connections, build social skills and participate in education and employment.
We believe that recovery is an individual process and that with the right kind of support each person can work towards a life that matches their values and goals for the future.
Our experienced staff will work with you to develop a Support Plan to assist you to work towards your recovery goals.
Supports cover a range of non-clinical supports that focus on building personal capacity and stability in one or more of the following areas:
The team facilitate some social group activities including the Bibra Lake Social Walking Group.
This service is not an emergency response service, however we will work with you to develop a plan to ensure that when you are unwell you have a plan to keep yourself safe.

A clinical diagnosis is not required for people to access services, however relevant eligibility criteria is required to be met e.g. Are currently not receiving funding from NDIS
As an NDIS-approved provider of mental health services and together with the efforts of the national psychosocial support program by the Australian Government, HelpingMinds conducts a range of programs and activities as part of our psychosocial support to individuals in Perth, WA who are living with mental health conditions. We also continue to produce user-friendly, engaging, and informative educational material about Psychosocial Disability to improve our Peer Support program as well as to assist family members and friends in their caring and supporting roles.
