HelpingMinds is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive fundraising, partnerships, and procurement initiatives during a landmark period of growth and celebration.
In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the CEO and Executive team to design and implement innovative business development strategies that grow our funding base, deepen community investment, and unlock new, long-term partnerships. - Lead the development and execution of business development strategies aligned with our organisational vision and values.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from government, corporate, and philanthropic sources.
- Cultivate and manage partnerships that drive long-term, sustainable funding.
- Oversee fundraising campaigns, donor engagement initiatives and community giving programs.
- Prepare compelling grant applications and tender submissions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Work closely with Marketing to build digital campaigns and enhance brand visibility.
- Drive corporate sponsorships and collaborative initiatives, particularly in support of our 50th anniversary.
- Provide regular reporting to the CEO and Executive team on business development outcomes.

You bring demonstrated experience in business development, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement with a track record of securing meaningful, multi-source funding.

You have established connections within the philanthropic, corporate, government, and broader not-for-profit sectors.

You are strategic, proactive, and results-focused, with a deep alignment to values-driven work.
- You’re an excellent communicator and natural relationship-builder with experience managing tenders and grants.
- You’re passionate about creating a lasting impact in mental health and community services.
